IM Land has begun searching for development partners for a new mixed-use scheme in a landmark urban extension north of Lichfield.
The Lakes at Curborough, set on 60 acres of agricultural land, has planning for 750 homes, alongside a wide range of amenities including a 210 places primary school, sports pitches, community facility, a retail development and public open spaces.
Jonathan Dyke from IM Land, the strategic land arm of IM Properties (IMP), said he was extremely pleased to be pushing the button on this opportunity to create a well-connected, sustainable new community in Staffordshire.
“We’ve had great success delivering 750 homes as part of a vibrant new mixed-use scheme at Blythe Valley Park in Solihull.
“The Lakes at Curborough will be our third major scheme in the Midlands to achieve planning as part of some 20,000 plots we are delivering as the strategic land arm of IM Properties.
“Placemaking is top of our agenda for all our schemes,” added Jonathan “And working with selected development partners to deliver the infrastructure, amenities, landscaping, playareas, cycle paths and walkways to offer a strong sense of connection.”
The Lakes at Curborough offers excellent rail and road connectivity to both neighbouring cities including Birmingham and Derby and further afield to Manchester and London.
IM Land was launched by Solihull based IMP, in response to the national acute housing shortage and identifies, acquires and promotes new residential and mixed-use sites.
IMP is one of the largest privately-owned property companies in the UK and has traded successfully across a wide range of sectors for almost 30 years, owning and managing a portfolio of nearly £900 million.
