IM Properties strategic land arm, IM Land, is beginning to build its support team with the appointment of Kathryn Hemingway as land and planning manager and Tom Holdcroft as technical co-ordinator.
The new members will assist IM Land’s team of housing professionals drive growth and deliver sustainable new communities with 12,000 plots under its control and a further 7000 in legals.
Kathryn joins IM Land from Cushman and Wakefield and Tom joins from Residential and Commercial Engineers Limited (RACE).
Kathryn says the opportunity presented at IM Land is particularly exciting as the company is moving at such a pace.
“All companies like to think they’re dynamic, but IM Land truly are. You’re right in amongst the action from the land side, to planning and keeping abreast of all the latest legislation. There is a real scope to learn from very experienced professionals on the team and most importantly people who also value your opinion and allow you to think for yourself.”
Tom added: “Definitely the experience and expertise of the team and its consultants is hugely impressive. You’re right at the top of the chain and able to help shape the schemes of the future.
“You’d imagine everyone to be very focussed on the bottom line, but it’s much more than that. Mostly it’s making sure that all parties benefit and are happy. It’s all about finding the best solution which is a great challenge I enjoy.”
IM Land currently has developments in Bath, Maidenhead, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick and Wycombe and outline planning for 1500 homes across two key sites in Solihull and Lichfield with a further 1000 with resolution to grant in Gaydon.
